In the 1980's Steve developed a nightclub and special events persona as "the second Ronald Reagan," touring the U.S. and appearing with numerous comedians including Henny Youngman, Pat Paulsen, Mark Russell and Tom Arnold. In New York City, Steve's production, The Sea Cruise Review, made Page 6, the famed gossip column section of the York Post with the quip, "...this guy belongs on Saturday Night Live. " With over 200 TV and radio commercials under his belt, Steve won the 1988 "Tele" award for best performance in an industrial video, Dupont's "Play it Again, Sam.

!993 was the debut year for the Steve Tweed Show, broadcast across northern North Dakota and upper Minnesota from KQWB radio In Fargo.The show, produced and co-hosted by comic radio veteran "Papa John" Reierson, was chief rival in its time slot with Ed Schultz, current national personality on the Jones Radio Network.
Steve has continued to do voice work for major corporations while operating a publishing company and TV syndication service offering family programming. As a publisher, Steve Tweed has launched several national titles, including Phil Lempert's "Supermarket Guru" and many more natural health trade paperbacks.
Steve continues to guest host local talk shows from Fargo, North Dakota, recently interviewing such personalities as Oliver North, Mark Fuhrman, and George McGovern for WDAY's hit show "Hot Talk." He is currently at work on a pilot version of The Conspiracy Show, an in depth look at the humorous and truly dark sides of conspiracy theories in American culture.
An undergraduate English major from Concordia College in Minnesota, Steve Tweed began journalism immediately, starting out as editor of a county newspaper. His radio debut followed in 1979, with the syndicated show, Plain Talk for Your Good Health, broadcast from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
